Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Plain-English summary
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling certain 2022-2023 AMG G63 special edition 4x4² (squared) vehicles. The recall involves 590 units. The defect is that the rear axle differential housing may develop cracks. This condition can result in oil leaking onto the roadway or a complete rear axle failure.
Oil leaking onto the road creates a hazard for following traffic. Rear axle failure can cause a sudden loss of handling or drive power. Both conditions increase the risk of a crash. Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the repair is completed. Towing to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer may be necessary for the repair.
Owner notification letters were mailed in phases starting June 28, 2024, with subsequent mailings on August 9, 2024, August 23, 2024, and September 25, 2024. This recall expands and replaces previous recall number 22V-937. Vehicles previously repaired under the earlier recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
