Mercedes-Benz is recalling 2022-2023 AMG SL55 and SL63 vehicles because an improperly secured electrical wiring harness may overheat or cause a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire or loss of drive power.

Dealers will secure the electrical wiring harness for the starter and alternator free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 20, 2023. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
