Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain 2022-2023 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles due to a fuel system defect. The plastic fuel tube is routed near metallic brake lines and may chafe against them and become damaged, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire. To remedy this defect, dealers will install protective materials and a clamp on the fuel tube.

Owners should contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 to schedule the recall service, or call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 6, 2024.
