2023 Freightliner M2 Trucks Steering Shaft Defect Recall
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling 2023 Freightliner Business Class M2 trucks due to a u-joint pinch bolt that may detach from the steering shaft, causing loss of steering control and increasing crash risk.

Owners should contact Daimler Trucks North America customer service at 1-800-547-0712. Dealers will inspect and repair the steering joint free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on August 1, 2022. The recall is identified as FL-937.
