What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: This is a structural vehicle defect: a confirmed manufacturing error created fuel tank walls that may be too thin. The source identifies two serious consequences: gasoline leaks that increase fire risk, and degraded crash performance that increases injury risk. Although no illnesses or injuries have been reported, the structural nature of the defect and the severity of potential consequences justify a Severe rating.
