Approximately 922 vehicles are affected by this recall across the 2019, 2020, and 2021 model years.
Owners should park their vehicles outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is completed. Dealers will replace the hydrogen gas detection sensors at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 12, 2022. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153).
