Plain-English summary
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 and 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles and 2022 Ford Maverick vehicles. The rear seat belt buckles on these vehicles may not be properly attached to the rear floor assembly.
These vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208 (Occupant Crash Protection) and 210 (Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages). If the rear seat belt buckles are not properly attached, they may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
