Plain-English summary

Spartan Fire, LLC is recalling certain 2020-2022 Spartan Fire MetroStar, 2021-2022 FC-94, and 2020-2022 Gladiator emergency vehicles. The recall involves 260 vehicles where the rear axle drive pinion may fracture.

A fractured drive pinion may contact the brake drop hose, which can unintentionally engage the parking brake or activate the brake lights. This condition increases the risk of a crash.
