2021 Volkswagen Atlas and 2020-2021 Cross Sport recalled for air bag water damage

What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: This is a structural vehicle defect affecting the air bag control module. A blocked air conditioning drain tube can cause water damage to the air bag module, potentially resulting in inadvertent air bag deployment and increasing the risk of serious injury or crash.
