Timpte, Inc. is recalling certain 2022 Bulk Commodity Hopper trailers. The recall addresses a defect in the iABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) where screws securing the bracket cover and end cover may have been improperly tightened. This condition can allow the screws to loosen and back out, resulting in a loss of pressure in the unit.

A loss of pressure in the iABS unit can cause a loss of brake function, which increases the risk of a crash. The defect is related to the service brakes, air system.
