Nexus Recalls 2018-2020 RVs Due to Gas Leak Risk in Stoves

Nexus RVs, LLC is recalling certain 2018-2020 Nexus recreational vehicles, including the Bentley, Bentley Diamond, Evoque, Ghost, Maybach, Phantom, Triumph, Viper, and Wraith models. These vehicles are built on International or Ford chassis and are equipped with specific Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves.

The recall is due to a defect where the saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened. This can damage the o-ring seal, resulting in a continuous gas leak. A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

Nexus will work with Dometic to install a remedy kit containing gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 10, 2021. Owners may contact Nexus customer service at 1-574-970-0848 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
