An overtightened securing bolt can damage the o-ring seal on the saddle valve, resulting in a continuous gas leak. A gas leak in the stove area increases the risk of fire, particularly in the confined space of an RV.

Approximately 460 units are affected by this recall. Genesis Supreme RV will notify owners and arrange for free installation of a remedy kit containing gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and warning labels. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 16, 2021.
