The 1-inch-wide webbing strap used in the center front adjuster to adjust the shoulder harness straps fails to meet minimum initial breaking strength requirements. In certain circumstances, this defect may prevent the car seat from adequately restraining a child during a crash, causing the product to fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 213.
