This defect can cause a blocked fuel nozzle, resulting in insufficient fuel supply to the engine. When fuel supply is insufficient, the engine may stall while the vehicle is being driven, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall involves 319 vehicles. Hyundai will notify owners of the recall and arrange for dealers to inspect and repair the fuel pump assembly jet nozzle at no charge. The recall began on November 10, 2020.
