Autocar Xpeditor Parking Brake May Apply Unexpectedly

Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2018-2021 Xpeditor trucks with right-hand drive cab configuration and a park brake valve located to the right of the steering wheel. The parking brake synchronization valve plumbing may be improperly assembled.

When the brake plumbing is improperly assembled, the parking brake can apply unexpectedly without warning. This unexpected application increases the risk of a crash.

A total of 1,086 vehicles are affected. Owners will be notified and dealers will correct the plumbing to allow the system to operate as designed. The recall began on September 28, 2020.
