Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2016 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. These vehicles were previously recalled and repaired under Recall 19V-390, but the repair may not have been completed properly. A spring in the Keyless Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch) may get stuck, causing the left hand door to remain unlatched when the door is closed.
An unlatched door may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury or a crash. Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the software, and inspect the KV latches, replacing them if necessary, free of charge. This recall is expected to begin July 24, 2020.
