Plain-English summary
Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2020 SEQUENCE motorhomes. The transmission shifter cable may separate and disconnect from the transmission.
When the shifter cable separates, the driver may not be aware of the actual gear position, and the shift lever position may not match the actual transmission gear. This can result in unintended vehicle movement and increases the risk of a crash.
Approximately 227 units are affected. Dealers will replace the transmission shift cable free of charge. The recall began May 15, 2020. Owners should contact Thor Motor Coach customer service at 1-877-855-2867 (recall number RC000185) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
