Mack Trucks, Inc. is recalling certain 2020 model year Anthem (AN), Granite (GR), and Pinnacle (PI) vehicles. The recall addresses a defect where the castle nuts and cotter pins used to connect the steering drag link to the pitman arm and steering arm may not have been correctly installed.
If the drag link separates due to this installation error, the driver may experience a loss of steering control, which increases the risk of a crash. The recall began on January 14, 2020.
