If the driver is not alerted when brake pads are worn out, the vehicle may not respond as expected when braking, which increases the risk of a crash. The recall covers specific model years of the Panamera 4, Panamera Turbo, Panamera 4S, Panamera Hybrid, and Cayenne, Cayenne S, and Cayenne Turbo models.

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the instrument cluster free of charge. The recall began on December 13, 2019, and supersedes recall 19V115. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
