Plain-English summary

Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain 2019 Serenity S24CB motorhomes. The recall addresses a connector wiring error that may prevent the 120V electrical outlets from being properly ground-fault protected.

The incorrect connector could result in the inverter ground failing. This failure could cause the outlet user to become the ground path for electricity, increasing their risk of injury.

All affected motorhomes are currently in dealer inventory. Triple E dealers will replace the two-pin connector with a three-pin connector for the ground wires at no charge. The recall began on March 12, 2019. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
