Airstream, Inc. is recalling certain 2019 Airstream Interstate 19 motorhomes. The recall addresses a defect in the electrical system where 150 amp fuses may have been used for the coach battery fuses instead of the required 100 amp fuses.

This defect potentially allows the battery cables to be overloaded. Overloaded battery cables may overheat, which increases the risk of a fire.

Airstream will notify owners, and dealers will remove the 150 amp fuses and install 100 amp fuses free of charge. The recall began on January 8, 2019.
