Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2015-2017 Nissan Altima vehicles due to a defect in the rear door latch/lock cable. The cable may have been improperly routed, which can cause the rear door to inadvertently unlatch and open if a rear window is lowered.
If the rear passenger doors open while the vehicle is in motion, it may increase the risk of injury to the rear passengers. The recall affects 341,005 vehicles.
