The recall involves 149 vehicles. The Federal Placard installed on these vehicles indicates an incorrect tire and rim combination. Specifically, the placard states the trailer is equipped with ST225/75R15D tires with 65 PSI and a rim designation of 15X6.0JJ, but the vehicles actually have ST205/75R14C tires with 50 PSI and a rim designation of 14X5.5JJ. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

The incorrect information on the placard may cause operators to over-inflate the tires based on the printed 65 PSI specification. Over-inflating a tire may lead to premature tire degradation, a tire blowout, or reduced handling, which increases the risk of a crash.
