Rosenbauer Motors is recalling certain 2012-2016 Commander vehicles manufactured between January 2, 2012, and May 16, 2016. The recall involves 25 vehicles equipped with Battalion air suspension seats. These seats may separate from their base during a frontal collision, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."

If the seat detaches from its base in a crash, there is an increased risk of injury to the occupant. Rosenbauer will notify owners, and dealers will attach two tethers from the seat to the cab free of charge. The recall began on July 11, 2016.
