The defect involves a bolt that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps, which may fracture. If this occurs, the fan gear may disengage from the steps, causing them to not remain in the expected position and potentially become unstable. Supreme will notify owners and advise them to have a Lippert Components dealer install a retainer bracket free of charge. The recall began on June 20, 2016.
