KME Predator Severe-Service Vehicles Recalled for Cab Door Latch Defect

Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. (KME) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 Predator Severe-Service vehicles manufactured between September 2, 2011, and September 20, 2013. The recall addresses a defect where the cab door latch retaining hardware may loosen. This issue can prevent the cab door from closing properly and may allow the door to open unexpectedly while the vehicle is moving.
If the cab door opens while the vehicle is in motion, occupants are at an increased risk of injury. KME will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the cab door latch hardware and replace it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on May 25, 2016.
