The affected units were manufactured between April 4, 2013, and January 22, 2016, and are fitted with IMT Series III cranes, specifically models 6000, 7500, 8600, 9500, 10000, 12000, and 14000.
The recall addresses a defect where the valve bank cover on the crane may crack and fall from the vehicle while it is being driven. If the cover detaches, it could become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
