Fontaine Trailer Company is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Revolution flat trailers manufactured between September 30, 2013, and September 28, 2015. The recall involves 552 units where welds may crack where the structural support member attaches to the frame hanger.
If these welds crack, the structural member may also crack and separate from the frame hanger. This failure of the slider box could increase the risk of a crash.
Fontaine will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the trailers to repair any cracks and add additional reinforcing components. These repairs will be performed free of charge.
