The recall addresses a defect in the hardened washers used in bolted connections that secure the upper coupler, landing gear, and suspensions to the trailer sub-frame. These washers may crack, which can cause the bolted joints to loosen. This failure may lead to the detachment of the trailer's structural components, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
