Terex Advance Concrete Mixers Recalled for Steering Pump Failure

The defect involves steerable tag axles operated by Eaton Hydraulics S26 Gear Pumps. These gear pumps may unexpectedly fail, which reduces the vehicle's ability to steer properly. The loss of steering ability may increase the risk of a crash.
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will replace the S26 gear pumps free of charge. The recall began on December 22, 2015. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-433-6691 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
