The OCS may be improperly calibrated, which could result in the passenger air bag not deploying in a vehicle crash. This condition causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." If the air bag does not deploy as intended, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
