Emcara Gas Development Inc. is recalling certain Pressure Relief Devices (PRDs), model numbers LT102B and LT130, manufactured between July 23, 2014, and December 31, 2014. The affected devices may not function as designed to vent a buildup of pressure, such as could occur if the compressed natural gas (CNG) tank was exposed to fire.
If the PRD does not activate in the event of a pressure buildup, the CNG tank may explode, increasing the risk of fire and injury. The recall began on July 9, 2015.
