Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2015 Jetta vehicles manufactured between July 11, 2014, and November 13, 2014. The recall involves approximately 25,007 vehicles.

The defect is caused by incorrect software within the headlight control module. This error may cause the low beam headlights to turn off when the high beam lights are turned on. As a result, the light output from the headlights may be insufficient, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. Insufficient headlight output may increase the risk of a crash.
