Innovative Trailer Design Industries is recalling one model year 2014 V40TAN49 van trailer manufactured between October 15, 2013, and December 30, 2013. The recall addresses a defect in the SAF-Holland Pivot Bolt (Part Number 93201070) equipped on these trailers.

The pivot bolt may have a quench crack where the bolt head meets the body of the bolt. This condition makes the bolt susceptible to cracking and fracturing. If both sides of the pivot connection fracture, the axle assembly could separate from the trailer, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
