Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2015 Freightliner Business Class M2 trucks. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 27, 2014, and September 25, 2014, and are equipped with specific models of Eaton Fuller 365mm clutches.
The recall is due to an incorrect clutch-release bearing component. This defect may cause the clutches to not disengage as needed. The loss of clutch function could result in unintended motion or extend stopping distance, which increases the risk of a vehicle crash.
