Plain-English summary
Mobility Specialists, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2007-2008 Ford E-150 vans that were modified by the company and equipped with Braun NCL-2 or NVL-2 wheelchair lifts. The recall involves 56 vehicles.
The defect involves the roll stop latches on the outer barrier of the lifts, which may become bent or misaligned over time and with frequent use. If a wheelchair occupant defeats or rides over an insufficiently latched roll stop while the lift platform is elevated, the occupant could fall and sustain injury.
