Eldorado Recalls 2010 Buses Due to Door Header Fire Risk
Eldorado is recalling 2010 Aerotech, Aero Elite, and Aerolite buses because voltage spikes in door headers may cause overheating and fire.

Eldorado National is recalling certain model year 2010 Aerotech, Aero Elite, and Aerolite buses manufactured between August 1, 2009, and July 31, 2010. The recall involves 1,765 vehicles equipped with A&M Systems door headers containing model 3230 circuit boards.
Voltage spikes may damage electrical components and circuits, causing the circuit board to develop high resistance. This high resistance may cause the board to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
Eldorado will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the door header and replace any defective circuit board free of charge. The safety recall began on November 4, 2013. Owners may contact Eldorado at 1-574-522-5000 ext. 15 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
