Daimler Buses North America is recalling certain model year 2007-2009 Sprinter Mini-buses equipped with a Ricon wheelchair lift that includes an optional armored pendant cable. The recall addresses a defect where the armored cable may be positioned such that it does not clear the wheelchair lift.
If the cable does not clear the lift, it may contact the power lug. If the cable does not have a nonconductive cover, or if the cover is improperly installed, a short circuit may occur that could result in a fire.
