Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain model year 2000, 2002 through 2006, and 2009 Thomas Built Minotour non-school buses. These vehicles were manufactured between April 17, 2000, and January 5, 2001. The recall involves 35 affected units.
The buses are equipped with an incorrect tire load certification label. The label lists "D" load range tires with a recommended cold tire inflation pressure greater than 65 PSI, but the buses actually have "E" load range tires that require a higher minimum pressure. This discrepancy means the buses do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120.
