What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Plain-English summary
Nova Bus Incorporated is recalling certain model year 2009 through 2011 LFS 40 ft and LFS 60 ft transit buses manufactured from March 31, 2009, through February 11, 2011. The recall involves 198 vehicles.
The defect is caused by insufficient torque applied to the drag link attachment bolts during production. This condition could allow the drag link to become detached from the steering linkage, resulting in a loss of vehicle control and potentially causing a crash.
Dealers will provide owners with documentation to verify the torque values for the drag link and will correct the drag link if necessary. At the customer's option, a dealer can perform the correct torque value free of charge. The safety recall began on March 16, 2011. Owners may contact Nova Bus at 1-450-472-6410 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
