Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2010 model year Mustang Shelby GT 500 vehicles manufactured between October 28 and December 3, 2009. These vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims," because the rear tire size information printed on the original labels is incorrect.
The incorrect labeling may lead owners to inflate tires to pressures other than those specified on the correct labels. This can have an adverse effect on vehicle braking, handling, and stability during emergency maneuvers, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
