The recalled tractors were sold exclusively at Quality Farm & Fleet stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee between February 23, 1999, and May 28, 1999. Consumers should stop using these tractors immediately and call WCI Outdoor Products, Inc. at (800) 849-1297 to determine if their tractor is part of the recall and to arrange for a free repair. The manufacturer's ID and serial number are located on a label affixed to the fender, under the seat.
