Stamina has received 43 reports of welds allegedly cracking or separating, which resulted in injuries such as sprains and bruises. The black metal exercise machine resembles a bicycle without wheels and has "Stamina" printed in red on the back, lower frame. The machine was sold by QVC Network, Damark International Inc., Wal-Mart Stores Inc., and Value Vision from November 1995 through February 1996 for about $99.

Consumers who own PR-6050s should immediately contact Stamina to arrange for a refund or free replacement. To receive the remedy, consumers must return the machine to Stamina at Stamina's cost.
