The Moon Bouncer is an inflatable vinyl toy designed for children ages three to six, featuring a red circular base and yellow side walls.
The alert was issued because incorrect inflation, particularly over-inflation, or use on hard surfaces can make the toy unstable, causing children to fall or bounce out. Playskool has received 22 reports of children falling or bouncing out of the toy, including ten injuries, four of which were fractures. The product was sold at major discount stores in the United States and Canada since November 1994 for about $60.

Parents and caregivers are warned that the toy should always be placed on impact-absorbing surfaces like sand or mulch outdoors, or on a padded surface indoors. It should never be used on concrete, asphalt, wood, or other hard surfaces.
