The stuffed dolls are approximately 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide, made from the same material as the rompers, and attached to string necklaces about 26 inches long.

The necklaces present a potential strangulation hazard when worn around the necks of crib-aged children. The length of the necklaces allows them to become caught on objects or twisted around a child's neck, posing a risk of choking. Neither the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) nor the company is aware of any injuries involving these specific products, although CPSC records show strangulation incidents with similar children's products such as pacifiers on cords.

Approximately 1,200 rompers were sold for about $7.50 in retail stores in Los Angeles, Calif., between April 5, 1994, and April 12, 1994. The products were imported from the Philippines. Consumers with these rompers should immediately cut the necklaces off the stuffed dolls and take the rompers and dolls back to the stores where they were purchased for a refund. The distributor, Best Wear, is out of business and cannot be contacted.
