The attached ornamental cherries on these garments pose a choking hazard to young children. Little Me is aware of one incident in which a child started to choke on one of the ornamental cherries, which was pulled from the child's throat by the attached string.

The recalled garments are 100 percent cotton with a white top and cherry print bottom, featuring a white embroidered collar. They were sold with a floppy hat made of cherry print material. The outfits have ornamental cherries attached to a string at the waist and were available in sizes 3M, 6M, 9M, 12M, 18M, and 24M. The collar labels read "Little Me," "MADE IN PHILIPPINES," and "RN 20864."

These garments were sold in major department and children's clothing stores from March 1999 through July 1999 for approximately $20 to $22. Consumers should immediately stop using these garments and return them to Little Me for a refund and a voucher for a 30 percent rebate on a future Little Me purchase.
