The toy consists of a 17-1/4 inch round bucket with a handle and nine different shaped sorting pieces. Four of these pieces (square, hexagon, triangle, and circle) have small animal figures attached to their tops. The toys were sold nationwide at discount and toy stores from March 1993 through February 1994 for between $2.00 and $3.00 each.

The recall is being conducted because the small animal figures attached to the sorting pieces can come off and choke a young child. During routine CPSC testing, these figures detached from the pieces. Neither CPSC nor Davis Brothers Wholesalers, Inc. is aware of any injuries involving the toy. The recall is intended to prevent the possibility of injury.
