The Infant's Playmat (catalog number 3182/stock number 130189) is a 32-inch by 36-inch mat featuring a tan bear face, a rattle, a teething toy, and a mirror. The Special Skunk (catalog number 4155/stock number 510052) is a 7.5-inch black and white stuffed animal with suction cups on its legs and a hard plastic nose.

The recall was initiated after CPSC testing revealed that the rattle included with the Infant's Playmat broke in half, and the nose and suction cups on the Special Skunk separated. These detached parts pose a potential choking or aspiration hazard for young children. The toys were sold nationwide at home demonstration parties from May 1989 through December 1989. The Infant's Playmat was sold for $34.90, and the Special Skunk was sold for $11.90.

Neither the CPSC nor the company is aware of any injuries involving these toys. Consumers are urged to take the toys away from young children immediately and return them to House of Lloyd, Inc. for a full refund.
