They are packaged in a clear and white plastic pouch with “BABY PRODUCTS” and “Crafted in Gentle Care” printed on the front. The product SKU (sa25092843915310553, sa2404237092800828, or sa251115653050553503) is printed on the front of the packaging.

The recall is necessary because the silicone strings on the toys are smaller and longer than permitted by the mandatory safety standard for toys. These strings can reach the back of the throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and a deadly choking hazard. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that no injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

About 644 units of the recalled teething toys were sold online at Amazon.com from October 2022 through May 2026 for about $21. The toys were manufactured by Hefei Hanchan Network Technology Co., Ltd., dba Colerinsec, of China. Consumers should stop using the recalled teething toys immediately and take them away from children. To obtain a refund, consumers should contact SHEIN, cut the teething toy’s silicone strings, and send a photo of the destroyed toy to [email protected] before disposing of the product.
