Plain-English summary

A three-wheeled child's scooter with a foot brake is being recalled. It is beige with a T-shaped handle and an aluminium frame, sold as model KS101544-P00005 with a cherry print and model KS101544-P00038 with a lemon print, both carrying batch number 062024 on the information sticker on the underside.

The left front wheel can detach during use, posing a fall hazard. Konges Sloejd has received 18 reports of the left front wheel detaching, resulting in three injuries, including one report of a broken arm and a child's lost tooth.

About 50 units were sold at specialty stores nationwide and online at kongessloejd.com from September 2024 through July 2025 for $115.

Consumers should stop using the scooter immediately and contact the firm for a full refund or voucher, either by providing a photo of the scooter with the stem removed from the base or by returning it to the store of purchase.
